Business run by a pathological liar. Owner and his employees (aka contractors) are extremely un-professional and dangerous on the road. This owner literally puts himself, his employees, and the general pubic in great danger every single time they are hired. Thankfully, the police and courts have finally forced this illegitimate business to shut down. Owner was involved in countless insurance fraud, did not ever insure his commercial vehicles as such (insured them all as personal cars, LOL), illegal wiretapping, domestic violence, and oh did I mention he is a registered sex offender? Yeah you REALLY doin't want this company or anyone associated with it, around you or your family.

It's amazing how some people post on a review but lie when do so. I to was sitting at the same intersection as pervious post and it could only be her. A woman refused over and over to stop her car saying the escort guys were not police. But they did every thing they could to stop her from driving in to funeral. One did have to tell at her a few times becuase she was refusing to stop. The one man on a motorcycle put himself in between her and funeral on his bike to stop her from Ruining that family's funeral and day for them. I have never seen such a more professional unit in the way they protected that family from a rude and disrespectful woman. I would give 10 thumbs up if I could to that on officer for his way of protecting that family.

My family was told by the Orange County sheriff's office that they could do a funeral escort for them. Later to come find out that was 100% not true and not available. We found out it's against the sheriff's department and the Orlando police department's policy to do funeral escorts. However somebody that were close to with the Florida highway patrol recommended us to call metro state. In a last minute pinch the day before with a very long detailed route. Metro state was able to provide 6 motorcycle officers and 2 cars in a moments notice. Not only that but the team was able to handle the Complicated route to make sure the family was able to pay its last respects to many locations in the Orlando and central Florida area. Thank you so much to metro state and its team and also the owner who I worked diligently with the day before the funeral needed to be done period from the bottom of my heart truly thank you for your help and understanding of our situation.

Jeremy Dewitte was convicted of raping a 15 year old girl. The girl also has stated in court documents that she met Dewitte while he rented a room in her home, NOT at a bar. This was a lie Dewitte came up with to try and protect himself. Also convicted of impersonating an officer, several times over. He unlawfully stopped traffic, unlawfully went thru red lights, drove his motor cycle at excessive speeds. Drove his motor cycle over the double yellow lines. Acted as a PD officer and stopped other drivers to complain about their driving, while pounding on the hoods of their cars. Some of these people were actual police officers, some on duty some off duty. Jeremy also has been convicted of illegal wire taping people. And to all service men and woman, he stated on many dates he was a member of the Army and was hurt jumping into combat. Jeremy Dewitte, NEVER EVER SERVED!!!! These are just a few of his charges, please go onto You Tube and there are hundreds of his actions most of which he himself filmed showing his illegal actions.

And it's funny the only reviews that are negative are the ones of people the have never been on a funeral escort with metro state. I guess that when it's your own mother or your own father you understand how important it is to keep your family together without somebody getting in to the funeral and trying to ride along through the red lights when they don't belong. There is a few that I read where they say that an officer spoke aggressively to them to get them out of their funeral and I saw the same thing on our funeral not once not twice but for 5 different times somebody or other vehicles turn their high beams and hazards on making it look like they were part of my mother's funeral and getting in and these motor officers for metro state knew who belonged and who didn't and they immediately got on to them to pull them out of the funeral most of them laughed but 1 or 2 of them argued and tried to stay and at that point your right those motor officers had to be a little more aggressive about getting them out of my mother's funeral. I don't know who those people were but I do know that the people that are giving negative reviews are people that are disrespecting family disrespecting the moments that we have left with our family and our loved ones like my mother. And these men on their motorcycles putting their lives in danger to keep our family together is worth every dollar I would have paid more had I known what these men are capable of period I can't tell you how much I appreciate what you've done for me and my family I'm sorry that other people write nasty reviews expressione the ones that are being yelled at because day wanna be silly and ride along with somebody else's funeral how disrespectful your men and your teen handle that the way it should be handled. I wish you could pull them over and give them tickets like policeman for speeding or something. I can't believe that people would actually turn their high beams and hazards on and act like a funeral so they can get through town a little faster and. Our family used metro state this weekend. The most professional most organized unit I have ever seen. They handled our families Hardest time with the most respect and honor that I've ever seen. I've been in the military for almost 20 years and I've never seen a more squared away professional organization.

Have used both company's here in orlando. Will NEVER use the other one EVER again!!. The man owns a funeral escort business and keeps the family's very very safe. His past is his past and we looked in to it (because all the harassing post we see) and that was in 2005 he was 24.... and he met a girl at a bar... A BAR with fake ID. These guys got it SOOOOO together..... the gear is amazing, we had like 8 BMW motorcycle on our escort plus 5 dodge chargers. Sharp sharp unit. My family raved about how professional the group was and my family did not stop thanking me for picking them to protect the family for the hour long escort to Tampa from Orlando. Amazing.... WORTHY of EVERY!! Dollar!!! Dont waste you money any where else.

Today my family had to bury my father. A colonel in the United States Army before that a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force. Needless to say a career military man. We were told by the county sheriff's office that my father lived in, They would be able to do the funeral escort. 3 days before the sheriffs had to cancel telling us that they no longer were allowed to do funeral escorts per the department policy. We called Metro State and were immediately amazed on how fast and how sympathetic and how cooperative Metro State was. Not only did they show up very professionally, clean sharp looking pressed uniforms and clean motorcycles. They saluted in every intersection that our family went through. Providing proper military honors for my father's last ride. They also at the military cemetery in Bushnell went with us to the ceremony and provided military honors until the United States Army honor guard took over. The professionalism and salutes they rendered in the intersection would have brought tears to the eyes of my father; a man of over 30 years military service with many field grade inspections and marches. I know my father would have been more honored with the way they provided services than anything I could ever ask for. Thank you to your company and your officers for their professionalism and proper military bearing.

I don't know who those people were but I do know that the people that are giving negative reviews are people that are disrespecting family disrespecting the moments that we have left with our family and our loved ones like my mother. Metro-State, was the last min call. We called the night before my mother funeral. We where told by the Orange County Sheriff's Office they would do funeral. But at 3:45 Friday they called and said they could not provide escort. We called Metro, we saw all the horrible reviews... and the issues the owners dealing with. But I can tell you from first hand dealing with him and his staff. The most professional,polite and caring group of men and woman... I have ever met. We had metro state truly apologize that you had such a upsetting encounter with one of our escorts. However the officers after review of all body cameras and - cameras of the vehicles on S chord show all vehicles entering properly on a green light. The slight then cycled in the procession. Per Florida statute which is what you were asking 3 16.1974 clearly States that all vehicles I say again all vehicles can't continue through a red light until the last 1 is safely through with the motorcycles holding traffic. The statue clearly States that all vehicles are to be yielded to as if fire or ambulance. So I contacted this company to get pricing on a funeral escort a little while back. I emailed them because someone close to me, who had served with me in Iraq, had passed away. We wanted to have a motorcade made up of our vehicles to escort his remains to their final resting place. We also wanted to ensure that we could be there to support his widow so we looked at the three companies that provided this service. When I contacted the company, I asked for a quote after giving them all the info they would need. I later found out, after doing some more research, that the owner was a registered sex offender and had committed acts Stolen Valor and didn't want him to be on the escort if it were true. I asked the company if it were true and if so, that I didn't want the owner on the escort detail. There would be children in the convoy who had just lost their father as well as combat veterans I served with. I would not endanger the children's safety or insult my brothers and sisters in arms.
I told them that it if the owner was a sex offender that it wouldn't effect me hiring them, but that I wouldn't want him around the kids. So I asked if it were true so I could make my decision on if to hire them or not. They flat out refused to tell me even though it is public record. They told me it was just a rumor that the owner was a sex offender and that they wouldn't comment on rumors. I emailed them back and stated that I needed to make sure the children were safe and they replied that it was only a rumor. They lied to me and endangered the innocence of children to make a buck. That is when I cancelled my dealing with them and went with another company. If they are willing to lie about the owner sexually assaulting children in order to make money, then they can not be trusted. I still have the emails incase someone needs proof that this posting is giving an accurate description of my experience with this company. I can not and will not trust a company that strait up lies to make money. Especially if it is trying to make money by placing children in the hands of someone convicted of having sex with a child.

I hope you read my review it all the way through. I have read all the other reviews on this page. And it's funny the only reviews that are negative are the ones of people the have never been on a funeral escort with metro state. I guess that when it's your own mother or your own father you understand how important it is to keep your family together without somebody getting in to the funeral and trying to ride along through the red lights when they don't belong. There is a few that I read where they say that an officer spoke aggressively to them to get them out of their funeral and I saw the same thing on our funeral not once not twice but for 5 different times somebody or other vehicles turn their high beams and hazards on making it look like they were part of my mother's funeral and getting in and these motor officers for metro state knew who belonged and who didn't and they immediately got on to them to pull them out of the funeral most of them laughed but 1 or 2 of them argued and tried to stay and at that point your right those motor officers had to be a little more aggressive about getting them out of my mother's funeral. I don't know who those people were but I do know that the people that are giving negative reviews are people that are disrespecting family disrespecting the moments that we have left with our family and our loved ones like my mother. And these men on their motorcycles putting their lives in danger to keep our family together is worth every dollar I would have paid more had I known what these men are capable of period I can't tell you how much I appreciate what you've done for me and my family I'm sorry that other people write nasty reviews expressione the ones that are being yelled at because day wanna be silly and ride along with somebody else's funeral how disrespectful your men and your teen handle that the way it should be handled. Today my family had to bury my father. A colonel in the United States Army before that a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force. Needless to say a career military man. We were told by the county sheriff's office that my father lived in, They would be able to do the funeral escort. 3 days before the sheriffs had to cancel telling us that they no longer were allowed to do funeral escorts per the department policy. We called Metro State and were immediately amazed on how fast and how sympathetic and how cooperative Metro State was. Not only did they show up very professionally, clean sharp looking pressed uniforms and clean motorcycles. They saluted in every intersection that our family went through. Providing proper military honors for my father's last ride. They also at the military cemetery in Bushnell went with us to the ceremony and provided military honors until the United States Army honor guard took over. The professionalism and salutes they rendered in the intersection would have brought tears to the eyes of my father; a man of over 30 years military service with many field grade inspections and marches. I know my father would have been more honored with the way they provided services than anything I could ever ask for. Thank you to your company and your officers for their professionalism and proper military bearing.

My family was told by the Orange County sheriff's office that they could do a funeral escort for them. Later to come find out that was 100% not true and not available. We found out it's against the sheriff's department and the Orlando police department's policy to do funeral escorts. However somebody that were close to with the Florida highway patrol recommended us to call metro state. In a last minute pinch the day before with a very long detailed route. Metro state was able to provide 6 motorcycle officers and 2 cars in a moments notice. Not only that but the team was able to handle the Complicated route to make sure the family was able to pay its last respects to many locations in the Orlando and central Florida area. Thank you so much to metro state and its team and also the owner who I worked diligently with the day before the funeral needed to be done period from the bottom of my heart truly thank you for your help and understanding of our situation.

I have never seen such a more professional unit in the way they protected that family from a rude and disrespectful woman. I would give 10 thumbs up if I could to that on officer for his way of protecting that family.

We witnessed first hand how unprofessional these employees (you are not officers) were today as they yelled at motorist, aggressively drove around traffic with no care for safety, and then in front of the cemetery a motorcycle peeled out. I have never seen anything so disrespectful to the mourners and to the law. Your employees need to be retrained to work within the law and learn to be more professional.

A brief note on one of your Funeral Escort officers. The funeral procession I witnessed but was not a part of was partially divided due to the fact that all vehicles were not through the initial red light on Hiawassee and Clarcona-Ocoee Rd. This caused other vehicles including mine to be behind the original procession. As the processional made a right turn, I stopped unsure as to what to do. Officer D. evidently was having a very dismal and frustrating day and told me to get out of the “F___ing road” Hopefully you have a talk with this employee, as I’m sure he doesn’t represent the qualities your business stands for.
