How long have you been in business?
Discount Vacation Rentals Online started in 2007 and had the intention to represent the renter. This is new for a local company because every one else here locally on the Orlando market represents the home owner. The problematic part of renting vacation properties is the fact that management companies are bound to wear two hats. When push comes to shove, their contract is with the home owner and that is who they will have to abide by.
What is your primary product or service?
renting out private pool homes, condominiums and townhouses. All accommodations go through a selection process of quality, reliability, location and management.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We were running one of the most successful property management companies here in Central Florida. The two hat story became complex and it was obvious renters needed representation from a local source.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are local, we approve properties and take them in our inventory -or not- and we advertise the properties for free for the home owner or management company. Discount Vacation Rentals Online is a vacation rental company that has no financial ties to the providers of the lodging accommodations.
In short, we go look for what the renter is demanding. We do not necessarily have to sell out of inventory.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
On our website we display at the moment approx. 350 properties. It is necessary to point out that our inventory is nearly endless and we have access of over 1000 units, easily.

Our offices are in downtown Orlando at 417 E Jackson St, Orlando, Florida, 32801 but all rentals go either directly to the rental home or check in through the management company on site.

We accept all major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
Which areas do you service?
Discount Vacation Rentals Online focuses on Walt Disney World and therefore all our properties are within 2 to 15 miles from the Disney World Main Gate.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
DVRO is owned by Peter Van den Broeck and I am in charge of everything marketing. Heather Casey is the managing force behind all reservations and customer service.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Mon - Fri from 9am till 8pm
Saturdays we are there from 10am till 6pm
and we are currently closed on Sundays
