How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I've always been interested in education and brain development. When I started doing research on these subjects, I realized that Dr. Maria Montessori had the same interests and actually developed the Montessori Method of Education through careful observation and implementation of learning materials. My major in college was in Biology and I have worked in research projects. I feel that working at Montessori World School has kept my interest and passion in education and brain development alive and focused.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
It is my mission to maintain the authenticity of the Montessori Method of Education at Montessori World School. Our classrooms are small communities where children work together with their teachers to bring out the potential in each child. We want to encourage the "joy of learning" that is inherent in all children.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?

Take I-4 east to exit 68 (Lake Buena Vista/Kissimmee). Head north, go straight for about one mile and make a right onto Lake Street (4th light at the ABC liquor store and Staybridge Suites) Take the first left on Ruby Lake Road. The school is on the right side. Go past the fence pond and enter the parking lot, look for the building with red doors.
