FUCC is my home and family. My fiance, Cynthia, and I have been attending for 2 and a half years and we love everything about this church. Rev. Pastor Leigh always has an important, easy to understand message each Sunday and is makes herself very available when we need her. The church has a wonderful Sunday school program and an awesome Vacation Bible school summer camp. Everyone is welcome. We love diversity.

First UCC is a wonderful place for worship and fellowship. Every Sunday Rev. McCaffrey delivers a moving and easy to follow sermon. Worship is followed by a coffee fellowship hour. The congregation enjoys many other activities together. We have a couple of bar-b-ques each year, a basket social and Christmas party, to name a few.
At First UCC, you are truly welcome no matter who you are or where you are on life's journey. The congregation is very diverse. Stop by one Sunday for free smiles, a wonderful service and stay for coffee and fellowship afterwards.

How long have you been in business?
Our church was founded in 1959. Our denomination, the United Church of Christ, dates back to the Pilgrims. Our church may be over 200 years old, but our thinking is NOT!

OUR VISION STATEMENT: We strive to be followers of Jesus Christ who accept and love all of God’s children as we seek to faithfully serve God in this community.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Our pastor, the Rev. Leigh McCaffrey has worked in churches for almost 30 years, serving congregations in Florida, Kansas and New England. A graduate of Andover Newton Theological School, she was the recipient of the Koinonia Prize for Preaching. Pastor Leigh is passionate about helping people create a community that nurtures each person in their spiritual journey.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Jesus didn't discriminate; we don't, either. First Church of Christ has members who are old and young, femme and butch, conservative and liberal, traditional and modern. No matter who you are and where you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome here!
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one campus, but we meet out in the community as well.
